You and each of you will take notice
that on the 25th day of October, A. D.,
1917, C. F. Lytle, as plaintiff, filed his
petition in the District Court of Holt
County, Nebraska, against C. T. Al
len, Charles T. Allen, John M. House,
Dorothy House, L. H. Jones, Leonidas
H. Jones, and McLean State Bank, a
corporation, defendants, the object
ana prayer of which is to foreclose a
certain real estate mortgage given by
the defendant, C. T. Allen, upon the
West Half of the Southeast Quarter
(SE!4), and the West Half of the
East Half of the Southeast Quarter
(SE'/i), of Section 21, Township 29,
North of Range 10, in Holt County,
Nebraska, to secure the payment of a
certain note of even date therewith,
to-wit, March 15, 1917, for the sum of
11400.00, together with interest there
on at the rate of six per cent per
annum, payable semi-annually. De
fault having been made in the pay
ment of said mortgage debt, plaintiff
elects to declare the entire sum of
principal and interest due and pay
able, and alleges that you and all
other defendants have, or claim to
have, some right, title, interest or lien
in or to the said premises, bdt that the
same is junior and inferior to the first
mortgage lien of said plaintiff, who
claims foreclosure of his said mort
gage, a sale of the said premises, and
general equitable relief.
You are required to answer said
petition on or before Monday, De
cember 3, A. D., 1917.

his wife and the northeast quarter of
the northeast quarter of section
eighteen (18), township twenty-seven
(27), north, range twelve (12), west
of the 6th P. M., defendants will take
notice that on the 5th day of Novem
ber, A. IX, 1917, Adelbert Baker filed
his petition in the District Court of
Holt County, Nebraska, and com
menced an action against the said de
fendants; the object and prayer of
which is to foreclose a certain tax
sale issued by the County Treasurer
of Holt County, Nebraska, to the
plaintiff on the 7th ;day of November,
1912, for the year 1911, and subse
quent taxes for the year 1914, paid
thereunder upon the following de
scribed real estate situated in the
County of Holt, and State of Ne
braska, to-wit: The northeast quarter
of the northeast quarter of section
eighten (18), township twenty-seven
(27), north, range twelve (12), west
of the 6th P: M., and that there is now
due the plaintiff on said tax sale and
taxes pqjd thereunder the sum of Ten
and 85-100 Dollars ($10.85), and
prays for a decree of fAeclosure of
said premises.
Plaintiff further alleges that the
real owner of said described premises
is unknown to the plaintiff and to
plaintiff’s attorney.
