John Carr came up from Stafford Tuesday, returning Wednesday morn ing. W. K. Hodgkin was in Ewing Tues day looking after some professional matters. Newton Carson and Floyd Wolfe were in from the north country last Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. John Hickey returned Tuesday evening from their wedding tour in the Black Hills. L. C. Chapman went up to Atkin son Sunday afternoon on professional business, returning Tuesday morning. Miss Grace Stanley, who had been visiting friends here for a week, re turned to her home at Sioux City last Friday. Misses Genevieve and Clare Biglin went down to Battle Creek the first of the week to spend a couple of weeks visiting friends. William Chambers, of Stuart, was a caller at this office yesterday after noon and had his name enrolled as a reader of The Frontier. Fathers Cassidy and Giblin went down to Omaha Monday morning to attend a week’s retreat being held in that city this week. Dr. O. S. O’Neill, formerly a resi dent of this city but now practicing his profession jin Norfolk, was an O’Neill visitor last Sunday. J. F. White, of Blair, was in the city Tuesday visiting relatives and looking after his ranch interests in the northwestern part of the county. Mrs. M. A. Cully, of Dixon, Nebr., arrived in the city last Saturday to spend a few days a guest of Mrs. Catherine Matthews, north of the city. Floyd Crawford was in from the northeast country last Tuesday and made this office a pleasant call, re newing his subscription to The Frontier. Charles P. Siders, Crist Sorenson, L. E. McKim and Arthur Aim were farmers from the Mineola country that were transacting business in this city last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Marrin left Monday morning for Omaha, Denver and the Colorado mountains where they intend to spend the summer.
