The Great Value
Of Government Irrigated Lands
Watch for the expected announcement this Autumn of the opening by the
Government of its new 12,000 acre Frannie tract in the Big Horn Basin. 20C
reliable ririgated farms. No agents. No commissions. Direct to you froir
Uncle Sam, free homestead land and actual cost of perpetual water-right, 2(
years’ time, no interest and no payment between the first and fifth year.
If you want to know the future value of these farms, visit the adjacent
locality of Powell, Wyoming, in the heart of 40,000 acres of irrigated land
under this same Government Canal. The Government has now on file more
applications than it has farms to allot, but we believe it our duty to let yot
know of this chance.
Write me and I will keep your name on file, to inform you as to the date
of this opening.

M. E. Church Notes.
Don’t forget the communion service
on Sunday morning, November 5th.
At this service we will also observe the
sacrament of baptism, and we invite
any who wish their infants baptized to
bring them at that time. If there are
any who wish to unite with the church
either by letter or on probation we will
be glad to receive them on the day of
the communion.
Prayer meeting meets every Wed
nesday evening at 7:30 in the church.
Were you at Sunday School last
Sunday? If you were not you missed
something. You had better form the
habit of attending every Sunday then
you will miss none of the good things
that happen. You know the hour,
11:30. The basement is warm and
comfortable for the primary depart
ment, and all classes will be comfort
ably situated, and well cared for. We
invite you to come to our Sunday
School, and worship with us.
The Ladies’ Aid meet in the base
ment on Thursday afternoons for their
regular work! The ladies are always
glad to welcome strangers.
The Methodist Sorosis Club is plan
ning to give the play “In His Steps”
in the very near future. This play is
based on the book of the same title.
There will be about 20 characters in
the play, and it is one that you will
enjoy.
Tom Thum and his bride to be is on
the way, and will be married in O’Neill
in a couple of weeks. These little
midgets are verv interesting and vou
will want to see them married. The
“Old Maid” sister, and the “bachelor”
friends will make you laugh. The
little folks will be dressed in appro
priate costumes, and will give the en
tire program. It’s just like a real
wedding. Watch the papers for
further announcements.
Thursday night the Royal Theatre
gives a “benefit” for our church. A
special program of music and readings
will be rendered between reels. Come
out and enjoy the evening and help a
worthy cause. Admission 10 and 15c.
The ladies will serve oysters and
sandwitches and coffee on election day.
November 7th. If you are cold and
hungry eat with them and cheer up,
then vote right.
Next week there will be a readerand
entertainer at the Sorosis program.
She is a graduate from the Morning

The burden of a “bad back.”
A lame, a weak or an aching back.

Doan’s Kidney Pills are .for weak

Here is O’Neill testimony.
H. A. Polk, retired farmer, O’Neill,
says: “I Jiave been using Doan’s
Kidney Pills recently and I am so
pleased with the results, that I can
recommend them as a reliable medi
cine. In the past, I suffered from
backache. I also had to arise three or
four times at night, my kidneys acted
so often. Since taking Doan’s Kidney
Pills, I have seen in my condition
much improvement. Doan’s Kidney
Pills are the first medicine that helped
me and I certainly think they are all
right.”

How Catarrh is Contracted.
Mothers are sometimes so thought
less as to neglect the colds which their
children contract. The inflamation of
the mucus membrane, at first acute,
becomes chronic and the child has
chronic catarrh, a disease that is sel
dom cured and that may prove a life’s
burden. Many persons who have this
loathsome disease will remember hav
ing had frequent colds at the time it
was contracted. A little loretnougnt,
a bottle of Chamberlain’s Cough Rem

trouble might have been avoided. Ob
