1915, in favor of Edith A. Cox as
Plaintiff, and W. T. Auld as Cross
Petitioner, and against S. O. Kezlan,
Rena J. Kezlan and W. T. Auld, as
Defendants, for the sum of Two
Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-Four
Dollars, and Ninety Five Cents, and
costs taxed at $26.50 and accruing
costs, I have levied upon the following
Real Estate taken as the property of
said Defendants, to satisfy said Order
of Sale, to-wit: The South East
Quarter (SE (4 ), of Section Twenty
Three (23), in Township Thirty (30),
North of Range Ten (10), West of the
Sixth Principal Meridian, in Holt
County, Nebraska, And will offer
the same for sale to the highest bid
der for cash, in hand, on the 1st day
of May, 1916, in front of the court

Kola Nebraska Items.
April 4, 1916.
Mrs. Thomas Baxter met with a
very painful accident at her home,
where she in some way lost her foot
ing falling off the porch, fracturing
and dislocating her shoulder. Dr. Ox
ford of Chambers, was called and at
the present time Mrs. Baxter is doing
nicely.
Chas. Beno of Council Bluffs, Iowa,
was in this vicinity last week, when he
sold his ranch of 800 acres to Evart
Whitcome for $8,000.
The Myers Ranch has again changed
hands to an eastern party.
Mrs. Lester Thompson, while Mr.
Thompson was away from home, went
out to the barn after dark carrying a
lantern and in some way it fell from
her hand breaking the globe which set
fire to the barn which was entirely
destroyed, Friday evening. Happily
there was only a set of harness which
Mrs. Thompson saved.
Mrs. Ida King of West Point, Ne
braska, after a week’s visit at the
home of her brother, Hudson Bruner,
returned to her home with her sister,
Miss Lily Bruner, who will make an
extended visit around among relatives
and friends
Mr. Griffin, residing west and south
of Kola, has sold his ranch of 800
acres for which he received $12.50 an
acre, selling all his stock to the party
who bought the ranch.
Mrs. R. H. Davis has taken her
daughter, Marion, to Lincoln, Ne
braska, where we hear she is under
going an operation for appendictis and
throat trouble.
