County, Nebraska, on a judg
ment obtained before R. R. Dickson,
Judge of the District Court of the
Fifteenth Judicial District in and for
Holt County, Nebraska, on the 28th
day of August, 1914, in favor of H. F.
Foss, as Plaintiff, and against John
K. Aaberg, Minnie Aaberg, his wife,
Oscar J. Booth and Thressa Booth, his
wife, Henry M. Peterson and Elfie
Peterson, his wife, and M. H. Leamy,
as Defendants, for the sum of Twelve
Hundred Fifty-Four Dollars, and No
Cents, and costs taxed at $31.20 and
accruing costs, I have levied upon the
following Real Estate taken as the
property of said Defendants, to satisfy
said Order of Sale, to-wit: The East

livan was elected temporary chair
man during the absence of Chairman
Sievers. A committee from Sarato
ga township was present with a
petition asking that Saratoga be
divided into two townships that the
new township asked for in the petition
be called Coleman township. Upon
motion the action in the petition by
the board was laid over until the next
meeting of the board of supervisors.

I, William Haynes hereby certify
that I was the assessor for Verdigris
township in said Holt county, Ne
braska, for the year 1913, and that I
assessed 9 and 10, in Bock Number
22, in the Village of Page, owned by
Mable M. Hayne and that the lots de
scribed with improvements valued at
$500.00 which was an error as there
was not at that time any improve
ments of any description on these
lots, and that they should be assessed
as other isnimproved lots adjoining
them

Mr. Chairman: Whereas it ap
pears to the satisfaction of this board,
that there had been an erroneous as
sessment on Lots 7 and 8, in Block5,
in the Western Town Lot Company,
in the Village of Stuart, owned by J.
H. Brown, and on the 24th day of
December, 1910, there was a barn
58x140 feet on said lots which was
burned down on the above date, and
on the following year, 1912, the said J.
H. Brown paid taxes on said lots with
improvements, and there were no im
provements they having been burned.
Therefore, Mr. Chairman, I move
you that a refund in the amount of
said sum amounting to $24.12 be al
lowed, and that the County Clerk be
and hereby is instructed to draw a
warrant for the above amount in
favor of J. H. Brown.
