We the Majority, Taxpayers and inhabitants of the village of Cham bers, Nebr., do hereby petition your Honorable Board that you incorpor ate the said village of Chambers, Holt county, so it will be an incorporated village of Holt county, Nebraska. The Metes and Bounds are to be as fol lows: Commencing at the northwest corner of the southeast Vi of section nineteen, in town twenty-six and range twelve, west of 6th P. M. in Holt county, Nebraska, and running south one mile to the southwest corner of the northeast Vi of section number thirty, in town number twenty-six. range twelve, west of 6th P. M. thence running one mile east to the south east corner of the northwest 14 of section number twenty-nine, in town I twenty-six, and range twelve, west of . 6th P. M. thence running north one j. mile to the northeast corner of the southwest 14 of section numbei twenty, town twenty-six, and range ’ twelve, west of the 6th P. Whereas, the resident tax payers of Chambers village, Holt county, Ne braska, have petitioned this board to be incorporated as a village and Whereas, it has been made satisfac tory to this board that they have the required population of 100 or more and that a majority of the resident taxpayers of said village of Chambers have signed the petition asking to be incorporated. Therefore, Mr. Chairman, I move you that the said Village of Cham bers, Holt county, Nebraska, be and is hereby incorporated as provided in Sec. 31, Chapter GO of the Revised Statutes of .Nebraska, for 1913, to be known as the Village of Chambers under the following bounds and metes: Commencing at the northwest cor ner of seotion number 19, township 26, north of range 12, west of the 6th P. M. thence running south one mile to the southwest corner of the north east !4 of section 30, township 26, north of range 12, west of the 6th P. M. thence east to the southeast cor ner of the northwest !4 of section 29, town 26, range 12, west of 6th P. M. thence north to the northeast corner of the southwest V<t of section 20, township 26, north of range 12, west of the 6th P. Mr. Chairman, I move you that the action of this board on September 9, 1913, appointing all resident physi Officers, be and the same is rescinded, for the reason that the rules govern ing boards of health only require one practicing physician in each district, raid district being formed in 1902, be ing seven in number. Mlinar was assessed for the year 1913 in Atkinson precinct and Green Valley precinct, when he should not have been assessed in Green Valley. Gentlemen: As it will be necessary lor the undersigned, County Judge of said county, to be absent from said county for a short period or periods, apparently at such time or times as this Honorable Board of Supervisors will not be in session, the undersigned respectfully requests the appointment of a suitable person, to act as County Judge, during the times that the County Judge may be absent from said county. Whereas it has been made to appear, that it will be necessary for the County Judge of this County, to be absent therefrom for short periods of time and whereas, it also appears that this Honorable Board, will not be in session, at the time or times that said County Judge will be absent hereby Resolved, that L. C. Chapman, be and he hereby is appointed to act as County Judge, of said County, during and only for the time or times, that the County Judge of said County, is absent therefrom, upon the said L. C. Be it resolved, ordered and declared by the Board of Supervisors' of Holt county, Nebraska, for the purpose of further carrying out the rules end regulations heretofore adopted for the prevention and spread of con tagious, infectious and malignant diseases in this county that in the event a vacancy shall appear in any of the districts of said county or any member of said district shall be absent therefrom it shall be lawful for any member of the said board to take charge of and enforce the rules and regulations of said board of health in said district.
