Mr. Howard Rouse arrived home from Wayne Monday, where he has been attending school. There are rumors of a wedding soon in this part of the country. Mr. Howard Rouse and sister Mabel spent Sunday with Mr Elmer Rouse and family. A box social and program will be given at the Meek school house Sat urday evening, April 4th. Everybody come. Ralph Pinkerman’s baby is on the sick list this week. The Miller school house closed a few weeks ago on account of the teacher’s illness. Will commence soofn with Elberta Splindler as teacher. Herbert Rouse arrived home Friday from the east where he has been vis iting friends and relatives. Miss Mary Hennitin called at the home of Orve Harrison Sunday. Mr. James Banks, of Atkinson, was seen in this locality last week. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Griffith called at the home of C. L. Benson Sunday. Dorothy Beauchamp spent Saturday evening with Mabel Rouse.
