Be It Ordained By the City Council
of the City of O’Neill:
Section 1. That the grade of the
streets hereinafter referred to in the
City of O’Neill, Nebraska, is hereby
established at the following eleva
tions. The grade being uniform
straight lines between the points

By virtue of an ececution on tran
script, directed to me from the cleric
of tlie district court of Holt county,
Nebraska, on a judgment obtained in
the county court of Holt county, Ne
braska, on the 5th day of April, 1907,
a transcript of which judgment was
tiled in the district court of Holt
county, Nebraska, on the 23rd day of
August, 1913, in favor of the Deering
Harvester Company, a corporation, as
plaintiff, and against Ed Tierney and
Dave Tierney as defendants, for the
sum of Eighty-tive and 10-100 dollars,
with interest at the rate of eight per
cent from the 5th day of April, 1907,
and costs taxed at 84.30 and accruing
costs, 1 have levied upon the following
real estate taken as the property of
said defendants, to satisfy said ex
ecution, to wit:
Lot fourteen [14], Block twenty-four
[24], original town of O'Neill, Ne
braska.
And will offer the same for sale to
the highest bidder for cash, in hand,
on the 29th day of September, A. D.
1913, in front of the court house in
O’Nefll, Holt county, Nebraska, at
the hour of 10 o’clock a. m. of said
day, when and where due attendance

Notice of Chattel Mortgage Sale.
Notice is hereby given that by vir
tue of a chattel mortgage given in the
form of a bill of sale, dated on the 13th
day of September, 1912, and duly tiled
in the office of county clerk of Holt
county, Nebraska, on the 26th day of
February, 1913, and executed by one
G. M. Stratton, to Nebraska State
Hank, to secure the pavment of the
sum of Six hundred dollars, ($600) and
upon which there is now due the sum
of $630, default having been made iu
the payment of said sum, and no suit
or any other proceedings at law hav
ing been instituted to recover said
debt or any part thereof, 1 will sell
the property therein described namely:
The butcher shop operated in the
Naylor building, O’Neill, Nebr., in
cluding all the tools, ice box, cash
register, counters, safe, writing desk,
meat blocks, gasoline engine, feed mill
and bone grinder, work shed, smoke
house and all the equipment used in
connection with said butcher shop,
including slaughter house and yards;
also one spotted horse seven years oid,
two meat carts, .one spring wagon and
one single harness, two sorrel mares
three and five years old, weight aoout,
2,000 pounds and one red milch cow
six years old, and said slaughter house
being situated on the three acre tract
in the southwest quarter of the north
east quarter of the northeast quarter
of section twenty-nine (29), in town
ship twenty-nine (29), north of range
eleven (11).

building, in the City of O’Neill, in the
County of Holt, and State of Ne
braska, on the 4th day of Oclober,
1913, at 10 o’clock a. m. of said day.
