to have the same appraised for the
purpose of sale, as provided by an act
of the legislature approved March the
6th, 1885, dated at Lincoln, Nebraska,

Comes now the undersigned petit
tioner, and represents that on the 2nd
day of May, 1910, he paid through mis
take |the taxes on the northeast quar
ter (nei) of section twenty-two (22) in
township (31) range sixteen (16) west
of the 6th p m. That the petitioner's
intention was to pay the taxes on the
northeast quarter of the southeast
quarter (nei sei) of above described
section, township and range.
Your petitioner now respectfully re
quests that the taxes paid as above
stated by mistake and as shown by
the treasurer’s receipt No. 5802 and
amounting to $10.71 be refunded to
to him.

in the sum of 5.00 This tax is erron

be instructed to strike the poll tax as

from the tax list for Saratoga precinct

reason 1 did not buy said property un
til after the 1st of May, 1911, the

by a man in charge, otherwise this
mistake would not have happened.
