Gentlemen:
Your petitioner represents that be
was erroneously assessed for forty
eight head of cattle, one saddle and
one watch or clock: for 1910, In Mc
Clure township that these were given
to the assessor in Inman township for
the same year and the tax being
against said property in Inman town
ship for the same year and the tax be
ing against said property in Inman
township is paid as indicated by tax
receipt No. 1957. Your petitioner
then asks your honorable body to have
the tax assesesed against him in Mc
Clure township stricken from the tax
list.

visors of Holt county, now in session
on this date January 14, 1911.
That we petition and request our
state senator Hon. J. D. Lee and our
state representative Hon. I). H. Cron
in and H. A. Allen, to use all honor
able means at their command to se
cure the passage of a law at this ses
sion of the legislature providing for
the construction of bridges across the
rivers of Nebraska where title is ves
ted in the state, and where the length
of such bridges is such as to make the
cost thereof burdensome, prohibitive
or excessive for aejoining counties.

Gentlemen:
On January 12, 1910, 1 paid tax on
nel of the nei, i2, 32, iO 7.97. This
tax was erroneous for the reason that
1 was assessed for added improve
ments on this land in the sum of 400
00. which should be assessed against
the wJ of the nrj and the ej of the
nel. Therefore your petitioner prays
for a refund of 4.42, as indicated in
tax receipt No. 2688 hereto attached.
