Services at the Methodist churcl next Sunday will begin, as usual, witl the class meeting at 10 a. m. Thi is not only the first service of the day but it is second to none in its im portance and helpfulness. The pastor will preach at 10:30 a m. and at 8 p. m. Watson, Pastor. Disney Items. H. L. O. Weidfeldt is building at addition to his house. Jess McAllister is helping in thi haying at the Thomas ranch. Two good showers the past weel revives the pasture and insures a gooc yield or corn. Mr. Sooter and Mr. Love have sole their farms and are expecting to leavi here in a short time. Mr. Love gets: stock of merchandise over in Iowa or the deal. Both farms went for 820 at acre. We are sorry to see old neigh bors leave, yet we wish these gentle men prosperity in their new homes. F. A. and Cora Hatch took in th< picnic last Thursday at Spindler’s grove. They report a very enjoyable time. A feature of the picnic was the ball game by and between the two birds—Red and Black. The Red biid boys were a little too fast for the Blackbirds, winning the game by a score of 11 to 15. M. A. Whaley had his merry-go-round there.
