Educational Notes The new school district number 248 will soon vote on the issuing of a 9500 bond for the purpose of building a school house with seating capacity for thirty children. A petition to divide district num ber 223 into two districts has been officially granted. This district was 6 miles square and the children lived in the extreme east and west sides. The new district is number 249. Mr. Leo Meneuy has been elected director. Both districts will build new school houses this spring. From the number of letters which have come to this office announcing the fact that the writer expects to at tend the Norfolk meeting, we judge Holt county will lead the enrollment lists in numbers.
