Methodist Church Items.
The second quarterly meeting of the
conference year will be held at our
church Sunday evening, beginning at
6:45 with a love feast. At 7:30 the
Rev. Dr. Bithell, presiding elder of
the Neligh district, will preach after
which the sacrament of the Lord’s
supper will be administered. We
cordially invite everybody to partici
pate in these services. The usual
services will be held during the day.
Class meeting Sunday morning at
10 o’clock, Mrs. O. O. Snyder leader.
Sermon by the pastor at 10:30, subject,
“An Important ^.Charge.” Sunday
school at 12 m., or immediately follow
ing the morning service. We should
be glad to have all remain for an hour
to {study the word of God with us.
The Junior League will resume its
service Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock.
Let every junior be in his or her place
promptly. Prayer meeting every
Thursday evening at 7:30. The pastor
would be pleased to see a larger at
tendance at this service. What is
good for the few would be equally
good for all. Shall we not give the
prayer meeting our hearty support
throughout the new year?
Our second quarterly conference will
be held at the church Monday, Janu
ary 6, at 9 a m. We hope to see all
of that body present at that time, and
trust that all reports will be ready.
