Minutes of the session of September 8 and of special meeting November 1 were read and approved. Petition of was read from J. II. Hoteling and 31 others asking for bridge between sec tions 23 and 14—14—33. On motion the petitior was granted and Supervisor Clark instructed to have the bridge constructed. Petition was read from Geo. Herzog and 22 others asking for bridges be tween sections 34 and 35—25—12 On motion the petition was granted and the clerk was instructed to adver tise for bridge for same. On motion the taxes on lot 1 block L. Neely’s addition to Atkinson for the year 1897 to 1905 inclusive be stricken from the tax list said proper ty being the property of Evangelical Church. Application was read from Henry A. Walker for admission into the Soldier’s Home. Same was granted. On motion the taxes on lot 12-13-14, block “A” Chambers Village for the year 1901 and 1902 were stricken from the tax list, the same being the pro perty of the Baptist Church. Applications were read for approval or the following School lands, S. W. } 36-13; all 36-30-15; N. p, S. W. 1; of S. W. i; N. W. i; S. E. p 36-25-9. SW. i; of S. E. i and S. E. p 36-25-9. On motion a warrant for $200 was drawn in favorjof A, F. Mullen to pay delinquent taxes on property now owned by Holt County known as the Tierney property. On motion Supervisor Clark was in structed to rebuild bridge at the south end of Grand llapid bridge, using all old material possible The board then went into commit tee of the whole for the purpose of at tending delinquent tax sales. At 4 o’clock p. m. the committee arose at which time the Board ad journed until November 13 at nine o’clock a. m. O’Neill, Neb., November 13, 1905. —Board meet and called to order at nine o’clock a. m. Present, Biglin, Clark, Keyes, Kram er and Phillips. Minuter of session of Nov. 11 read and approved. Board went into committee of the whole for the purpose of attending delinquent tax sale. At 12 o’clock the committee arose at which time the board adjourned until one o’clock p. m. One o’clock, p. m.—Board called t o order. All members present. Board went into committee of the whole to attend delinquent tax sale. At 3 o’clock p. m. the committee was arose and the Board resumed re lar session. On motion Lot 9, Block 16, O’Neill, now owned by the county was leased to P.C. Carrigan for a term of 99 years upon the paymentof $10 and the pro per officers were instructed to execute said lease. On motion a refund warrant was granted »o H. B. Scott in the amount of $4.86 for taxed erroneously on paid the S. E. 1 6-25-13 for the year 1904. On motion the personal tax assessed to Levi VanValkenberg and Van Valkenberg & Bock and Van Valk enberg & Co. for the year 1888 in Inman Township were stricken from the tax list for the reason that it has come to the knowledge of the board that said taxes have been paid. Tlie committee to whom was refered the matter of purchasing a poor farm recommended that the clerk advertise for proposal. On motion the report of committee was adopted.
