Michael Lyons as plaintiff has commenced In
the district court of Holt county, Nebraska,
an action against you and each of you. the

12 o’clock noon, August 11th, 1906, for the
construction of a sixty foot span pile aud
stringer bridge on the north end of the Bad
ger bridge across the Niobrara river, bidders
are required to furnish their own plans and
specifications. All bids to be sealed aud
marked “proposals for bridge.’’ The board
of supervisors reserve the right to reject any
or all bids.

about one mile west of Atkinson, Holt county,

19 feet wide, with 19 foot, spans. Bidders will

On motion Supervisor Keyes was
chosen chairman pro tern.
Minutes of sessions July 13 and Aug
ust 2, were read and approved.
Supervisors Reed and Orr, repre
senting the county board of Boyd
county, were present to confer with
the board in regard to the construct
ion of ice breaks to the bridges on
the Niobrara river.
The committee to investigate the
subject of steel ice breaks reported
that it is to the best interest of the
county not to take any action at this
time. Report adopted.
On motion the contract for the con
struction of ice breaks to the Whiting
bridge was awarded to G. M. Farr at
$450.
On motion the contract for ice
breaks to all the bridges on the Nio
brara, except the Whiting bridge,
was awarded to E. R. Townsend at
$351 for plan “A” and $204 for plan
“B.”
The following refund warrants were

The subject of a new bridge across
tire Niobrara river about two miles
below the Badger bridge, instead of
building the span as advertised to the
north side of the Badger bridge, was

and approved.
On motion Supervisor Keyes was
instructed to move the bridge near
the center of 11-26-11 to a site on sec
tion line between 10 and 11-26-11.
Also to move the bridge on line be
tween sections 11 and 12-26-13 about
twenty rods south of its present loca
tion.
The following refund warrants were
allowed:

On motion the clerk was instructed
to advertise for bids for rebuilding
bridge across Elkhorn river one mile
west of Atkinson.
Petition of John, Joseph and Wil
liam Grafe for refund of taxes in
amount of $10.52 was rejected.
On motion the clerk was instructed
to advertise for two bridges each to
be 40 feet long and 16 feet wide on
section line between sections 35 and
38-29-12.
On motion Supervisor Reuting was
instructed to construct a 16 foot
bridge across Dry creek in Sheridan
township.
On motion the court house commit
tee were instructed to have cement
sidewalks laid around the court house
grounds.
On motion the board adjourned un
