Word was received here Tuesday of the death of old Mr. Bartley, father of Joe Bartley, at ills home in Atkinson. He was about eighty-two years of age. Nebraska’s fighting strength from a military bases is announced by the adjutant general to be 119,755. The flighting age for men is from 18 to 45 years. Archy Anderson of Genoa came in Monday night on land business, re turning Tuesday. He has a home stead a few miles across the line in Wheeler county.
