Ross was so favorably impressed with
Ilolt county land that he bought a
quarter section near O’Neill. In
company witli R. H. Walters, local
agent for the Button Land Company,
Mr. Ross made a tour of inspection
over the county a week ago. lie test
ed the soil and subsoil of the property
in question and found it to be excel
lent. Of course prices range very
much lower there than in Johnson
county and Mr. Ross is of the opinion
the porporty will make him some
money in the way of advancing values
within the next few years. In all
probability he will not locate on it
until the spring of 1900. The Ross
family has many friends here who will
regret to have them move from the
community at any time.

Sued by His Doctor.
“A doctor here lias sued me for
$12.50, which I claimed was excessive
for a case of cholera morbus,” says R.
White, of Coachella, Cal. “At the
trial he praised his medical skill and
medicine. I asked him if it was not
Chamberlain’s Qolle, Cholera and
Diarrhoea Remedy he used as I had
good reason to believe it was, and he
would not say under oath that it was
not.” No doctor could use a better
remedy than this in a case of cholera
morbus, it never fails. Sold by P. C.
Corrigan.

Good Spirits.
Good spirits don’t all come from
Kentucky. Their main source is tiie
liver—and all the fine spirits ever
made in the Blue Grass State could
not remedy a bad liver or the hund
red-and-one ill effects it produces.
You can’t have good spirits and a bad
liver at the same time. Your liver
must be in fine contition if you would
feel buoyant, happy and hopeful,
bright of eye, light of step, vigorous
and successful in your pursuits. You
can put your liver in fine condition by
using Green’s August Flower—the
greatest of all medicines for the liver
and stomach and a certain cure for
dyspepsia or Indigestion. It has been
a favorite household remedy for over
thirty-five years. August Flower will
make your liver healthy and active
and thus insure you a liberal supply of
“good spirits.” Trial size, 25c; regu
lar bottles, 75c. At all druggists.
Trumps of Modern Surgery.
Wonderful things are done for the
human body by sugery. Organs are
taken out and scraped and polished
and put back, or they may be removed
entirely; bones are spliced; pipes take
the place of diseased sections of veins;,
antiseptic dressings are applied to
wounds, bruises, burns and like in
juries before inflammation sets in,
which causes them to heal without
maturation and in one-third the time
required by the old treatment. Cham
berlain’s Pain Balm acts on this same
principle. It is an antiseptic and
when applied to such injuries, causes
them to heal very quickly. It also
allays the pain and soreness. Keep a
bottle of Pain Balm in your home and
it will save you time and money, not
to mention the inconvenience and
suffering which such injuries entail.
For sale by P. C. Corrigan.
Thrown From a Wagon.
Mr. George K. Babcock was thrown
from his wagon and severely bruised,
lie applied Chamberlain’s Pain Balm
freely and says it is the best liniment
liniment he ever used. Mr. Babcock
is a well known citizen of North
Plain, Conn. There is nothing equal
to Pain Balm for sprains and bruises.
It will effect a cure In one-third the
time required by any other treatment.
For sale byP. C. Corrigan.
Chamberlain’s Stomach and Liver
Tablets Better than a Doctor’s
Prescription.
Mr. J. W. Turner, of Truhart, Va.
says that Chamberlain’s Stomach and
Liver Tablets have done him more
good than anything he could get from
the doctor. If any physician in this
country was able to compound a medi
cine that would produce such gratify
ing results in cases of stomach troub
les, biliousness or constipation, his
whole time would be used in prepar
ing this one medicine. For sale by P.
C. Corrigan.
