Proverbsj
“When the butter won’t
come put a penny in the s
churn,” is an old time dairy
proverb. It often seems to
work though no one has ever v
told why. '
When mothers are worried *
because the children do not
gain strength and flesh we 1
say give them Scott’s Emul
sion. f
It is like the penny in the 1
milk because it works and
because there is something (
astonishing about it.
Scott’s Emulsion is simply |
a milk of pure cod liver oil
with some hypophosphites
especially prepared for delicate f
stomachs.
Children take to it naturally c
because they like the taste a
and the remedy takes just as |
naturally to the children be- I
cause it is so perfectly adapted J1
to their wants. t
For all weak and pale and s
drin children Scott’s Emulsion [
t

Millionaires’ Poor Stomach.
The worn-out stomach of the over
fed millionaire is often paraded in the
public prints as a horrible example of
the evils attendants on the possession
af a great wealth. But millionaires
ire not the only ones who are afflicted
with bad stomachs. The proportion
is far greater among the toilers.
Deyspepsia and indigestion are
rampant among these people, and
they suffer far worse tortures than ,
the millionaire unless they avail them
selves of a standard medicine like
Creen’s August Flower, which has
reen a favorite household remedy for
ill stomach troubles for over thirty
live years. August Flower rouses the
torpid liver, thus creating appetite
tnd insuring perfect digestion. It
tones and vitalizes the entire system
