Holt county, Neb.
VVe, the undersigned electors resid
ing within five miles of the following
road south of O’Neill, ask that a bridge
be built at a point north of present
bridge on Elkhorn river to properly
care for overflow during high water in
the spring of leach year, said bridge
to be a pile and stringer bridge 60 feet
in length.

On motion the prayer of tire peti
tion was granted and the clerk instru
cted to advertise forbids for building
said bridge.
Supervisor Keef asked for instruc
tions in regard to repairing the bridge
across Dry creek in Sheridan town
ship.

structed to repair or rebuild said
bridge according to his judgment for
the best interests of the county.

Gentlemen—The undersigned peti
tioner respectfully requests that you
order the county treasurer to strike
from the tax list the sum of $17.62 as
sessed against lot 1, block 27, Bitney’s
addition for the year 1894 for tire
reason the assessor erroneously assess
ed this lot at $115, whereas the lots
adjoining were only assesed at $20each,
which is a fair valuation; and your
petitioner will ever pray.
