BEGSLAR SESSION (Official! Report.) Supervisors’ Office, O’Neill, Nebr. —9 o’clock a m., Deo. 18, 1900.— Board met pursuant to adjournment Present, Bethea, Cooper, Coffey, Fntchioff, Keefe, Postlewait, Simar. Minutes of previous meetings were read and approved. John Jenkins appeared before the board in behalf of S. O. Stillman, owner of the townsite of Grand Rapids, and offered to pay the sum of $50 in settlement of taxes and penalties assessed against certain lots in the town of Grand Rapids for the year of 1888 and subsequent years and which said taxes and pen allies now amount to about $600. Said offer was taken under advise ment. County Attorney-elect A. F. Mul leu came before the board with the request that they provide an office room for him. Chairman referred the matter to the court house committee. Upon motion the petition of Ben Sanders praying for refund of $79.80 taxes paid erroneously upon the sej, sec 84, twp 31, range 14, was gsanted, provided he takes tax sale certificates on the same prop ■ erty; tax recetpts No. 4,859 for year 1899, No. 0,042 for 1898, No 6,210! for 1897, No. 6,012 for 1890, No 0,761 for 1895, are ordered can oelled. Mr. Chairman: I move you that the county attorney be instructed to begin tax foreclosure proceedings on the townsite of Grand Rapids.—W. B. Cooper, B. W. Postlewait. Motion carried. Uppn motion board adjourned until Dec. 19,1900, 9 o’clock a. m. 9. o’clock a. m., Dec. 19, 1900.— Board met pursuant to adjournment, all members present Minutes of yesterday’s meeting were read and approved. Upon motion the petition of Sam uel Taggart and 13 others, residents of Chambers township, praying for the building of a bridge across the South Fork of the Elkhorn, was laid over.
