Jon Santoro, Chairman. ;/ 'Clyde Xing, Secretary. The ring won last Saturday and they will ratify next Saturday. “All is not gold that glitters,” is especially applicable to the frozen north. Attend your township caucus and select good representative men as delegates to the county. The star of republicanism is on the ascendency in Holt county. With united ranks and good clean men we will win. “The day of usefulness for the populist party is past,” remarked a prominent member of that party, after the caucus last Saturday. We are free American citizens and cannot be driven nor will we allow any ring or clique to control us. Thx republican convention which meets next Monday should be a har monious gathering. Factional strife should be kept out. Men who have been and who are obnoxious to the rank and file of the party on account of their unsavory political records, should be given to understand that they belong to the obscurity cfass. The party has no room in the front rank for men who are continually plotting to “skin” Borne person unless he fawns before them. They should be satisfied to follow instead of at tempting to lead. Give us men as leaders who will command the res pect of the people and republican ism will triumph. THE JUDGE APPOINTS.
