The editor of an ex change who has kept tab on those who show a lack of appreciation of his hon est efforts to get out a decent and res pectable home newspaper gives about the facts as follows: "Whenever you hear a man finding fault with a local paper, open it up, and ten to one he hasn’t an advertisement in it; five to one he never gives it a Job of work to do; three to one that he does not take the paper; two to one that if he it a sub scriber, he Isa delinquent; even odds he never does anything in any way that will assist the publisher to run a good paper; and forty to one that if the paper is a good one and full of life, he is most eager to see the paper when it comes out."
