for a couple of weeks. They are
interested in a case that was to
come up at this term of court.
D. W. Evans, who has been
acting as postmaster at Bracken
since Postmaster Bamer left
several months ago until the office
was discontinued in October, was
in Nemaha Tuesday and turned
over the supplies of the office to
Postmaster Titus.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm Glenn and
little son Max came to Nemaha
on the early train Saturday morn
ing to visit their son and brother
C. V. Glenn, and to see the new Mr. Moore has made appliSat
grandson. Mr Glenn returned ion for a new trial and we under-
the same day and Mrs. Glenn stand has been granted 50 davs
and the next morning when
court convened, it was read.
Mr. Titus sued Mr Moore on

ing at the Titus nursery two
years ago to get the insurance

ling place. Third that G. N.
Titus and his brother had burn
ed the buildings for the insur
ance. The jury brought in a
verdict of guilty on all three
counts, assessing the damages at
$50 on each count, a total of
$160, which with the costs will
amount to about $1000. we are
informed.
