ness la the natural outgrowth of the
old time household remedies.
In the early history of this country
EVERY FAMILY HAD ITS HOME
MADE MEDICINES. Herb teas, bit
ters, laxatives and tonics, were to be
found in almost every house, com
pounded by the housewife, sometimes
