J. W. Ritchey and wife drove
out near Howe Sunday to the
home of Mr. Ritchey's sister,
Mrs. Dave Kite, to see her
father, who is quite sick.
Next Thursday is Thanksgiving
and surely the people of Nemaha
have great cause for thankfulness
this year. Prosperity abounds
in every way. Let us all give

Mrs. Lou Beckwith, who has
been visiting in Nemaha for two
or three weeks, helping take
care of her sister, Mrs. F. L.
Woodward, returned' to Kansas
City last Friday.
Messrs. Harlan, Parker, and
Elliott, representing the Auburn
Music Co., have been in Nemaha
two or three days this week, and
sold several pianos, organs, sew
ing machines, etc.
