Sylvester Hodges, who lives northeast
of town, was on the street near A, L.

The total vote cast at the recent
election was in round numbers 200,000,
linrncs, tho republican candidate for
supremo judge, received 00.091 votes
and Sullivan, the fusion: candidate, re
ceived 87,000, giving Barnes a plurality
of 0,025. The republican candidates
for regents received an average plural
ity of 21,483.
United States Senator Dietrich has
been indicted by tho federal grand jury
for soliciting and accepting bribes for
his influence in securing the appoints
