Hicks of Thurman, Iowa, wero visiting Nemaha friends the first of the week. Mr. Hicks talks of putting in a harness shop in Nemaha. The school board engaged V. V. Steutevillo as principal of onr schools for the next year at the meeting held Tuesday night. The other teachers hp.ve not yet been hired. Almost every passenger train going west now takes one or two freight cars from Nemaha, and the east bound train usually leaves a load or two of stock here to be taken south by the freight. W.
