Ono year ago Win. llusaell and Mrs.
J. B. Uorger spent Thanksgiving in
Galvoston, Texas. Of the ten who
took dinner togother on that day only

L, Uorger, their son, bis wife, baby' boy
and father-in-law, Mr. Elliott, Mr. aud
Mrs. T. A, Loranco. Ethel Parker and

time after that, Mr. Merger died In
February, and W. L. Merger, wifo and
bahy, Mrs. Loranco aud Ethel Parker
were drowned in tho great Btorm at
Galveston September 8th.
Tom Moobam, who is woiking for
Tom Uiatt, bad a narrow oscapa from
being killed hint Saturday. Tom and
John Soeley were hauling lumber from
the depot. They wore golnu after a
load, having no bed on the wagon, and

china and silverware, were received.
Mr. Hartley ia a hardware merchant
of Molckow. ;a young man respected
by all who know him. MrB. Hartley

made her home with her for several
