Last Friday Dr. J. L. Melvin, assisted by Dr. button, of Shubert, performed an operation on the diseased limb. A considerable amount of pus waa taken out, which will greatly rolieve the pa tient. A cure cannot be effected, how over, as the bone ia diseased. Mr. Mather in getting along very well since the operation.
