picnic grounds last night where 300
or more Shrlners- nnd their families
were gathered to havo a good time
Tho dinner was all that could bo ex
pected. An abundance of everything
gavo tho smllo of satisfaction which
enabled evoryono to enter into the
furthor festivities with unusual zeal.
A parade headed by some musicians,
dancing girls, a shoik and followed by
Iscores of people carrying banners
and dressed In fantastic costumes,
provided entertainment for a long
time. Horses, dogs, goats, ponies, a
cow, and some roosters took part in
tho parade. Races, games, qinging
and all kinds of fool stunts kept up
tho interest until a lato hour. The
committee in charge deserves much
credit for putting on Buch a good
picnic.

brothers and sisters.
