RURAL SCHOOL
Miss Ross, our county Red Cross
nurse, has completed the physical in
spection in tho Pdxton schools. She
was pleased to find tho schooj using
papor towels and containing shower
baths. Miss Ross gives us the follow
ing report of defects of the pupils of
our school: Forty-three pupils with
abnormal eyes; 43 pupils with abnor
mal throat or n so; 2 pupils with
poor hearing; 47 pupils with defec
tivo teeth; 7 pupils ovor 20 per cent
over weight, and 43 pupils more than
7 per cent' under wolght. Miss Ross
wishes to express her appreciation of
