Kearney at noon on Friday. Af tor I
having dinner in town they proceeded !
to tho High School whoro thoy reg
istered and wero assigned places of
ontortalnmont. Boys from nearly all
tho schools from North Platto ex
tending east of Grand. Island attend
ed tho conference. In all thero wero
nearly two hundred boys In attend
ance. No further business was done after
registering until 5:30 Friday evening
when thoy met and elected a chair
man for tho conference. Again
North Plntto was honored when Wil
bur Swnnson was elected chairman.
From tho High School the delega
tions proceeded to tho dormitory at
tho Stato Normal where a first class
banquet was held.
After tho banquet Mr. Kendall of
Grand Island, tho promoter of the ;
conference . led In somo songs and
yells. Mr. Worslg, superintendent of
tho Kearney schools was toastmastor
and tho following responded with

Kcarnoy;" Rov. Warrington, "Wei
