EDITORIAL.
'! he Keith County News has a column
heado.l "Watch Yoijr Salo Dates,"
which wo believe is valuable to farm
ers and stock raisers. Such a column
would prevent duplication of dates
nnd conflict of sales. We invito salo
clerks, auctioneers and all others to
send us the items for this column
Those living in parts of the County
fartherest from North Platto will be
benefited by having their dates on flic
hero as well as those who live closer.
There will be no charge and we thank
Editor Kroh for the Idea.
The III V Club is always doing
something nice. Here last Wednesday
evening it gave a banquet to the High
School faculty. The affair was pulled
off in the basement of the Luthern
Church and with the help of some of
the boy's mothers. Hev. Koch Is the
guiding genius of the Club and It is to
him that a great deal of the credit
. should be given. The menu consisted of
roast pork and brown gravy, mashed
potatoes, creamed string beans, cab-
tmge salad, rolls, coffee, ice cream
and cake. A number if talks were
made by those present including
Principal Effle Johnson, Wilbur Swan
son, Frank Smith and John B. Ed
wards. A few years ago this would
have been an impossibility. The boys
.. at that time were banded together to
boat the teachers, not to banquet
them and everyone will agree that the
boys of today have as good times as
the boys of any other day and they,
nre doing it in a way which will
help them to be better men. We are
for the Hi-Y.

Tho undersigned persons having
