O'Donnell for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Logan and children returned Sunday from May ?Bod where they visited for a few days. Thomas D. Hallron, thirteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Hallron of Paxton, drowned in tho river near his homo Saturday. The boy was out swimmflng anSd dived into tho water and hit his head which caused, hi3 death. Ho was found later one half mile from the place of diving. Tho funeral was held at 10:30 yesterday morning in Paxton. A nine poudi boy was born Wed nesday to Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Casey. All concerned aro (doing nicely. S. It. Derryberry returned yester day from Lotllsville, Ky., whero ho attended th'o Hardware Men's Con vention. Mr. and Mrs. Win. Artz returned to their home in Denver this morning after attending tho funeral of tho late Mrs. J. T. Edmiston. Mrs. John B. Edwards entertained a number of friends Friday after noon at her homo. After a pleasant afternoon dainty refreshments wore servi Dr. W. I. Shaffer and family will leave next Friday for Los Angeles whero they will spend the month of July.
