Catherine Slesser was born In
Dauphin Co., Pn., Sept. 10, 1856, and
died at North Platto, Nebraska, Juno
15, 1921. Tho cause of hor death
was heart trouble and dropsey. She
was married to Frank Dowhowor in
1877 and a few years later camo to
live on a farm near North Platte. 'In
1D00 they moved to this city.
In 1900 sho became a member of
tho Lutheran Church hero and has
been a faithful member since al
though recently sho was not able to
attend often. Since last December
sho has been an invalid spending
most of hor time in an invalid's chair
and looking forward to the time
"when sho would bo well.
Mrs. Dowhowor was tho mother of
olovon children all of whom with her
husband aro still living. Tho child
ren aro Mrs. Ernest Arnett of Mont.,
Mrs. Ed Ware, Mrs. John Pell, Mrs.
John Gross, Mrs. John Diener, Mrs.
Lawronco Hi to, Mrs. Earl Diener,
