worked out in different places and

will be mado to settlo on u definite
plan for this County. The hour is ono

Tho meeting is for all breeders of
cattle, hogs, sheep and even poultry.
The idea is that Lincoln County needs
a place whero fino stock can bo taken
and cared for whllo awaiting the sale,
whero men and women can gather
in comfort whllo the sale is .being
carried on and whero a salo can bo
conducted so that tho stock will show
to advantage and the purchaser can
toll -just what ho is buying.
Thoso who are promoting the meet
ing at tho Court Houso are anxious
that evoryono interested attend and
take a part as far as possible in work,
ing out this matter. It Is of vital
interest to every farmer, stockman,
and business man in this section of

DISTRIBUTED FROM NORTH
PLATTE.
A carload of small croppies, cats
and blue gills will be received in Nof
Platto about Tuesday when tho fsl.car
of tho Nebraska Fish Commission ar
rives here. The fish were takon from
somo ponds which were dying up from
will bo distributed to lakes and ponds
near here. It is estimated that there
Will be twenty thousand fish in the
shipment. Tho exponse is to be paid
by contrlbtlons from local sportsmen
and others interested in stocking our
waters with food fish.

Lust week the authorities of tho Un
ion Pacific Railroad gave Treasurer
S. M. Souder a check for $iqc,133.11 as
payment of taxes for tho year 1920.
At the same time $23,50G.GG was re
ceived from tho Burlington, making n
total of almost ono hundred sixty
thousand dollars paid into Lincoln
County. Under agreement tho United
States government had to pay two
thirds of all the taxes assessed
against the railroads for 1920.
