But ho had beconio so despondent that ho threatened to take his life. Found Family Destitute. Moreover, It was found that he had been absent without leave to go to her. Upon presentation of the facts in tho caso the sentence wns commuted and tho Red Cross Is helping tho family to get on its feet. Tho fact that all tho returned bodies of dead soldiers nre given n military funeral may be partly at tributed to tho Civilian Relief bu reau.
