A meeting for the purpose of or
ganizing a ball team was held Friday
at tho Landgraf barber, shop, a num
ber of fans attending. Messrs. Hens
ley and Dedmoro were elected mana
gers and R. C. Langford treasurer.
It was the sense of the meeting that
a salaried 'catcher and pitcher bo se
cured and that other (positions be
filled by local players. Todcnhoff, of
Stapleton will be added to tho pitching
staff when necessity requires. With
a salaried catcher and pitcher there
is ample material In town to put a
strong team In tho field.
