LAY PLAN FOR JOINT
TREATY OF NATIONS
Vivian Martin in "Her Country FlfSt"
There's always a way a girl can help her Uncle Sammy.
Smiling Bill Parsons Comedy, 'PROPOSING BILL.'
He may be a bachelor, but Oh, Boy! How that old
rascal Bill Parsons can love.
Keith Theatre, Saturday
It has become known that a serious
effort Is being made in all the highest
quarters to join together all tho peace
treaties with Germany, Austria, Tur
key and Bulgaria, thus making ono
comprehensive treaty in which Ger
many woud be linked with other, Cen
tral powers as their responsible head.
While such a step would cause some
delay, yet the Acmrlcan and" British
leaders feel that it would save time.
In tho end in completing the work on
all the peace treaties. Tho inclusion
of Austria in a comprehensive treaty
would be particularly acceptable to
Italy, which has resented the con
clusion of terms with Germny in a
ddcument which failed to deal with
Italy's interests. In Austria.
The movement for a single treaty
with all the four powers probably
grows out of Premier Orlando's strong
opposition to such omission In the first
treaty of clauses dealing with Italy's
interests. The plan has not yet been
finally detrmined upon, but the ten
dency is toward its acceptance.
Should the plan bo adopted it is ex
pected that tho four treaties could be
linked together and completed by
May 1.
