A probable Issue 'In tho qlty elec
tion In April materialized at the
meeting of tho city council Tuesday
evening when an. ordinance was In
troduced permitting "plcturo shows to
oporato on Sunday. The ordinunce,
in accordance with the usual proced
ure, pvns road for tho llrst tlmo, and
then laid ovor for two weeks for a
second reading, nnd thence later to
come up for a third introduction and
for pnssago or rejection.
Tho Inclination of the council is to
put tho proposition up to a voto of tho
people at tho April election and will
probably suggest to the picture houso
owners that they got up a petition
asking that tho question bo submitted
to a voto at that time. This is prob
ably a more satisfactory method than
to have tho council act on tho matter,
for it givos tho people the right to
express themselves as to whether or
not they want Sunday plcturo shows.
It is, true that In many towns and
cities In tho state the shows open on
Sunday, but whether such action Is
looked upon with favor by a majori
ty of our people remains to bo seen.

S is a conveyance for dead people. The town lots and city property that you may now own or
may hereafter own, are of such a nature that you can't take them with you when you take your
ride in the hearse. Why not own a home while you are here and help to build up your town and com
munity, selling your vacant lots and, properties. Beginning March 1st, 1919, THIS AGENCY will
issue a Real Estate bulletin monthly, giving a list of homes and vacant lots that we have for sale.
Give us your name "and address ind be a reader of this bulletin, as it will pay you.
w
E also expect to let you pick the vacant lot that you
want and build the house on it to suit vou, making: a
reasonable payment down and the balance each month like
renl. This part of our plan has not been entirely completed
as yet, but -on March 1st, this agency will start
AN OWN YOUR HOME CAMPAIGN.
We have some very fine residence lots in Pennislon's, Tay
lor's, Graceland, Cody's and Dolson's addition, and elsewhere.
In fact, we have we have what you want and where you want it
and on terms to suit. We represent one of the largest Loan Companies in
the state of Nebraska and can close loans promptly.

i fore January 1, 1920. They can be filled easily. Get
action on your money.
Good people with families are leaving town-and passing itup
daily because they have no place to live. If you don't list your lots and
and property with us, list it with some one. Do your part in building
up a BETTER AND GREATER NORTH PJLATTE. But pleese remember
you will have to hurry to get the yacant lot that you might want badly.
They are moving fast, First come, first served. Money and signed
contracts talk.
