"Tho Truth About the War" Is ono
of tho subtitles to "Eslrshlng'B Cru
saders," the U. S. Official War Film,
at tho Keith theatre. It is interesting
to noto that this "truth," with rela
tion to thlf air program of America,
causoa much relief to thosli who havo
hoard so much about tho failure of tho
aviation program. Thero Is nothing of
failure In what shown in this film of
what America has dono in aviation
thus far, In fact it is astounding that
eo much has boon accomplished in so
short a spaco of time.
General Pershing and Secretary
Baker aro shown inspecting hundreds
of American noroplanos in Franco and
and tho American aviators aro shown
in nction, and display tho ability to
tnke their place in tho air at any time
along with the alicd airmen.
The American machines nrla thero
now In force, tho screen shows this
and if much mora impetus Is given to
the aviation program It may wetl b-1
expected that tho United States will
soon havo thousands of planes in the
field and pUflnty of trained airmen to
oporato them. It would appear that
thero aro enough American machines
and trained flli.rs over thero now to
take enre of all tho bombing, scouting
and fighting 'planes needed over that
part of tho front hold by tho Ameri
can troops.
This exhibition of how far tho coun
try has progressed in the air 'program
Is but another of tho encouraging
facts sheAvn by this great war film
which puts hmrt and confidence In
the American people. That America
is already taking her part and . hns
made mnrvolous progress In her first
oar of thta war is evident to d'.l who
seo these films.

nam. Tho farms visitled wore Cris

Otto Oman and E. W. Crossgrovo.
At each place a particular typo of
silo was studied and tho merits of
.Inch discussed. All wero agreed thnt
tho silo was a good thing, tho only
question considered was tho kind.
Many of tho party were planning on
building silos this fall and wore
