"Oh, Peggy, hnvo you heard Cap

"You mistake, my dear young lady,"
interrupted tlio captain, "i onor Hom

turning toward tho late arrival, who,
although far .from being beautiful,

an entertainer. "I nm disgusted with
tho way you young ladles art! neglect

Ilavo you now?"
"Nothing but tho awful dread of be

answered Miss Randall. "Think of our

"That's. not so bad; but great heav

of what you are liable to got Into?"
Tho group on the veranda broke up
and Peggy, together with a half dozen
of tho young people, went outside to

The end of tho senson camo nnd
