Charles Mallatto died Saturday night
at tho homo of his son D. B. Mallatto,
1410 west Third Btrcot. For several
years he had been bed-ridden follow
ing nn apoplectic stroke. Tho deceased
had resided in tho county for a num
bor or years, formerly living on a
homestead north of tho river. Mr.
Mallatto was a veteran of tho civil war,
serving as a lieutenant In an Indiana
company.
