Cliarlos Tush Ponnrts .Life. Mrs. Mary Pass, wiro of Charles Pass died at her homo Monday night at 11:15 aftor an illness of several months. Death was duo to stomach and kidney trouble which followed an attack of grlppo contracted last Jan uary. During her illnoss she was tak en to Dr. Jonas at Omaha, nnd to the Mayp Bros, at Rochester, Minn., but these physicians could glvo no hope of recovery. Tho funeral was hold yostorday forenoon from tho Catholic church, of which Mrs. Pass had been a life long nnd falthfiul member. Many friends woro prosont to pay their last tribute to this splendid homo-loving woman. Tho deceased was born In Toronto Can., March 25, 1848. July 7, 1881, sho was united In marriage to Mr. Pass who had come over from England six months before to visit relatives. Immediately following tho wedding Mr. nnd Mrs. Pass moved to Dubuquo, In., whero thoy remained four years, coming to this city in 1885, which has since been their homo. To this union three children wero born, Amy who died In infancy, Chns. J., of this city, and Leo, of Washington, D. C Mrs. Pass was a womnn of won derful activity and while in hor earli er life sho dovoted considerable tlmo to church work, sho was distinctly a home-loving woman, and to her inde fatigable energy Is duo much of the success In building up tho Pass floral business to its present mnKnltude. Not only to members of hor fnmlly was Mrs. Pass kind and considerate. but this characteristic extended to nil her acquaintances she was crontlv attached to them nnd to tho city wmcn nau ocen ner home for so many years.
