Dent, and Dr. J. S. Slmms, Sheriff Salisbury looks after the registration of tho men and filing of exemptions and County Clork Allon takes down on tho typewriter tho ans wors to tho question propounded by tho oxamlning physicians. Up to olght o'clock last evening tho figures wore as follows: Number examined 160 Number discharged for physical disability y 32 Numbor filing exemptions C5 Number not asking oxemption ... G3 More than nine-tenths of those filing exemptions give dependents as thoir claim; these dependents usually con sisting of wife, or wifo nnd ono or more children, but in quite a fow In stances tho dopendonts aro classed as aged parents. Today is tho last day for filing ex emptions, and the board will prob ably begin considering these exemp tions tomorrow and complete tho work as rapidly as possible. It Is prob able that tho men who will compose Lincoln county's quota of 115 will bo passed upon in time for Friday's issue of Tho Tribune. In considering the exemptions tho board will take up tho names in tho ro tation in which they were drawn, and unless tho board is very libaral in its exemptions, some of those who were passed and did not claim exemption will not bo included In. tho ono hun dred and fifteen required. North Platto Is furnishing water to its consumers at a lower rato than any city in Nebraska but in ordor to do this wo must cut out all unneces sary oxponso. Tho ordinance requires wat or consumers to pay bills at tho wator oft'leo on January 1st, April 1st, July 1st and October 1st, without notlco from tho wator dopartmont that bill is duo.
