Mrs. Percy O'Brien, of Omaha, who spent two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Hi Smith, returned to Omaha Sat urday afternoon. Mrs. Ralph Smith and children re turned Saturday afternoon from Kear ney whero they had been -visiting rela tives for a week. Clifford Welliver, of Fresno, Cal., arrived hero Sunday afternoon to vis it his sister Mrs. George Wilson while enroute-to St. Louis. Misses Agnes and Mary O'Neil, of Lincoln, who have been the guests of their cousin, Miss Marie Stack for two weeks, will leave Friday. -A.L. Early yestcr day morning tho shoriff received a phono message from Julosburg stating that the man and car arrived there at four o'clock and that both woro awaiting him. Ho went to Julesburg on tho early morning train and re turned yesterday afternoon with tho car and the thief. Lewis will be givon a preliminary hearing somo tlmo today or tomorrow. Lewis announced last evening that ho would probably plead guilty be fore Judgo Grimes today. "When a man is caught with tho goods," said Lewis, "ho might as well 'foss up, and that's what I'll do."
