Colonel W. F. Cody passed through town the early part of the week en- route to Denver from New York. For two months he had boon in Now York engaged in writing a story of tho grow th and advancement of tho country once deslgatod as "tho plains." This story is 120,000 words in length and the first installment will bo published In tho Juno number of Hearst's Maga zine. It will later be published In book form. While east Col. Cody also made ar rangements for the opening of his Wild Wost nnd Far East show, whicli will occur at Oklahoma City April 22d. One feature of the show will bo a won derfully largo panorainia of tho war in Europe, showing the movement of troops on the battle field, the linn.; or the big guns, carrying the dead and wounded from tho field, the work of the airships, In fact the scenes of the war will be carried out in detail. Nystrom, who has been an lnmato of tho county Jail for sev eral weeks charged with being mate of tho county Jail for several a party to a conspiracy to obtain the real estate of J. P.
