FRIDAY, MARCH 21 Jl Who Discovered Keith NeVlllel Oinaha Examiner: Wo nil know who It was that discovered America, but wo would lll.o to know who (lis covered Keith Neville ot North 1'lailc, the man Who la going to ho nominated for governor ot Nebraska by the In telligent and discriminating demo crats. It was only a few wceka ago thut Colonel Henry C. Richmond went nosing nround to find a candldnte to put up agaln3t Prince Charley U'uryun and ho thought ho had InMioed Colonel Sophus Ncblo for the purposo, but Col onel Ncblo was cxcursloulng on tmd nround the Oulf of Mexico, spending a lot of his hard-earned wealth, and could not bo reached by postal card or wireless, and becoming discour aged Colonel Richmond looked else where for gubernatorial timber. We strongly suspect that it was Colonel Richmond who uncovered Keith Ne ville. Our suspicion Is founded on the fact that Colonol Richmond Is now en gaged as press agent for Mr. Novtlle, and we must say that ho Is doing l)ls work In a llawlcus miiiumr. If Ne ville Is elected governor it Is a safe bet thnt Colonel Richmond wilt not lose any sleep or anything elno uuc ossnry for the comforts of mind or body. ::o:: Rase Hall Fair mid ('aruhnl At a meeting of the baso ball carni val and fair promoters, held tills woak, committees were appointed to take chnrgo of the various booth1 and the proposed various entertainment ton tures and to solicit cash ad merchan dise from the local morchants, iwhom It is hoped will respond generously in order that this form of raising tho necessary funds to support the team may bo sucessful.
