If sponge-cake crumbs aro used no sugar need bo added; if bread, add sugar enough to Bweoten, and a pinch of salt. Bake In a slow oven until firm. Stow two cupfuls of well-washed prunes that have been soaked over night, until soft; pit and press through n colander; add an ounce of gelatin that has been softened In cold water to cover; idd lemon Julco, and sweeten to taste, then add a half cupful of boiling water; turn out to mold after It hna been well mixed nnd the gelatin 's thoroughly dissolved.
