Tho base was given to tho Jury about 5:30 Tuesday ovonlng nnd aftor being out twenty-fivo hours thoy reported that they could not agree. It Is said that on tho first twenty ballots tho vote stood eight to four for con viction then on a number of ballots sir to six and then tho last fifty bal lots were eight to four for conviction.
